LAST UPDATED 11/14/2001

I've been busy this year, more than any other year, I beleive.  Jennifer got me started early (late September), and we've been carving ever since!  Here is a simple photo album of my latest creations!

If you see a photo that interests you, and you would like a high resolution copy, feel free to send me email and, time permitting, I will email a copy to you.  These high resolution images are 1600 X 1200 pixels, jpeg compressed and are 250KB - 500KB in size.  Family and friends get presidence of my time when requesting high res copies.

This is the largest of the albums provided, so I've broken it into 3 parts.  This is part three.  Part 1 is located here, and Part 2 is located here.

To view the images, just click on the thumbnail image on the left.  Use your browser BACK button to return to this index.   The images are about 30KB - 40KB and will take a few seconds to load.

ENJOY!

PA310015.JPG (25644 bytes) My good friend, Fran   L'Heureux had seen my pumpkins from last year and fell in love with my Loon pumpkin.  I love Loons as a subject for pumpkins, so I thought it would be nice to carve a new Loon pumpkin, just for Fran.

PA310026.JPG (23298 bytes) Striking another Alaskan theme, I carved these 3 images (see next 2 pictures).  Actually, what happened is, I came across this pumpkin (fat, short and with a nice long stem) and I feel in love with it and was determined to find a subject to carve on it.  I have never done one this squat.   I thought it came out quite nice.  This is an eagle in flight.

Good friend, and Master Craftsman, Chuck Mower was having an open house at his Windsor Chair factory (his 200 year old barn) and it was suggested that Chuck would love one of my pumpkins with a Windsor chair carved on it.  Well, I couldn't stop there and decided to also carve an image of Chuck onto the pumpkin.  It came out quite nicely, as you can see from the inset image.
