Aside from my hobbies, these are the places and ways that I like to relax.  From sunrise walks along the shore at Hampton Beach, New Hampshire, to hikes along the many trails in the White Mountains of New Hampshire.

Sometimes I go alone, such as a leisurely trip down the Merrimack river in my canoe.  Other times, I am with my family enjoying the view from the top of a mountain we've just climbed.

In addition to that, we also have enjoyed fishing trips, camping, siteseeing and trips to local parks and carnivals in and around New Hampshire and the North East.  We have vacationed in Florida, Washington D.C., Texas and Alaska.  All of these trips were a lot of fun and we hope to repeat them soon!  The Alaska trip was, for me, the ultimate vacation and I have a portion of this section of my website devoted just to those trips (2).

I will explore some of my fishing adventures, with hints and tips, as well as hiking, canoeing, along with the Alaska page.   As time permits, I will also add other areas of interest including reading, writing and others...
